Translate-it

Created in 2022, the CRCM's Translational Research and Innovative Therapies Department, headed by Joseph Ciccolini and Nelson Dusetti, comprises five teams focused on the development of innovative therapies and diagnostic tools. It fosters collaboration between researchers and clinicians to rapidly translate scientific advances into clinical applications.

A flagship project is the "Pancreas View" molecular test, enabling personalized treatment of pancreatic cancer by predicting patients' response to chemotherapy. Clinically validated and patented, this test is revolutionizing the management of this disease.

The Department promotes a "Bedside-to-Bench-to-Bedside" approach, where clinical challenges feed into research and solutions return to patients. Through multi-disciplinary projects and close interaction with theIPC andAP-HM, it pursues the goal of bringing science and care closer together to improve oncology treatments.
