The MarMaRa Institute, a major player in rare disease research, integrates the Telomeres and Chromatin team into its research network. MarMaRa, the fruit of collaboration between Aix-Marseille University,INSERM, CNRS andAP-HM, brings together 13 laboratories and over 200 researchers. The aim of the institute is to respond to the challenges posed by rare diseases, which affect some 3 million people in France, by mobilizing an interdisciplinary approach.

The work of the Telomeres and Chromatin team fits perfectly into this vision, exploring fundamental molecular mechanisms that could offer new diagnostic and therapeutic perspectives. By supporting the mobility and funding of young researchers, the Institute stimulates inter-laboratory collaboration to advance research in this crucial field.
