10 January 2025Luisa Laureti has received a prestigious grant from the Cancéropole PACA for her project entitled “How single-stranded DNA gaps are processed during replication blockage.”
This research focuses on the complex mechanisms by which single-stranded DNA gaps are managed when replication is stalled.
This support will help advance our understanding of the cellular processes involved in the response to DNA damage — a key issue for maintaining genome stability. The findings could pave the way for new strategies to target replication-related dysfunctions, particularly in cancer.
A major step forward for both fundamental and applied research in oncology!
