A research continuum
CRCM is a model of integration between fundamental science, translational research and clinical. In collaboration with Institut Paoli-Calmettes and Assistance Publique des Hôpitaux de Marseille, the CRCM ensures that laboratory discoveries lead to innovative treatments.
- Basic research: Molecular and cellular studies to understand genetic alterations : identifying and understanding the consequences of genetic alterations in cancer cells
- Clinical research: Targeted therapeutic trials for rapid, effective solutions : participate in the development of innovative therapeutic protocols.
- Training: 40 to 50 students every year, working on a variety of issues.
Since its creation in 1972 CRCM has never stopped growing and evolving. From its first teams to today's international recognition, the CRCM's mission has remained the same: to advance cancer biology and medicine for better patient care.
Thanks to cutting-edge technologies, a culture of collaboration and a cross-disciplinary vision, CRCM has established itself as one of the leading laboratories in the field of oncology.
