TrGET, preclinicals
TrGET, proof-of-concept exploration platform for the in vitro and in vivo preclinical evaluation of therapeutic strategies in oncology.
In the context of cancer, a pathology that involves several organs and numerous cellular components, alternative methods (in silico, in vitro) are not able to completely replace the use of animals. This is why animal models are still necessary to understand the mechanisms of carcinogenesis, and to develop and improve treatments for the benefit of patients. However, conscious of its responsibilities, the TrGET platform is committed to protecting the welfare of the mice studied by its staff, in particular through strict compliance with regulatory provisions and fundamental animal freedoms, and only uses animal models if no other experimental approach can replace them.
TrGET offers a variety of flexible, customizable and custom-developed services. The platform uses innovative bioluminescence-based technologies (non-invasive) for the quantitative assessment of cancer cell characteristics ex vivo and in vivo using syngeneic mouse models or xenografts derived from bioluminescent cell lines (CDX) or primary patient samples (PDX).
