La Marseillaise des Femmes: The CRCM Takes on the Collective Challenge
8 June 2026
CRCM master 2 campain 2027 is now open !
11 June 2026Our lab is developing tools to advance the future of precision medicine in oncology.
To support this goal, we are seeking talented (top 25% of your prom) and ambitious Master 2 students.
If you are…
- Willing to pursue a PhD and an academic career,
- Highly motivated to conduct a translational research project,
- Extremely dedicated, passionate, rigorous, and organized to work with human samples collected through ongoing clinical trials.
…Several projects are currently available and can be selected based on the candidate’s scientific interests and project availability.

Projects
Project 1 – Precision medicine for metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC)
Using a molecular stratification framework that we developed for colorectal cancer liver metastases, we aim to identify subtype-specific biomarkers and therapeutic targets and to develop tailored treatment strategies through high-content drug screening.
Project 2 – Determinants of metastatic relapse
By comparing patients with rapid relapse to those with durable disease control, this project will investigate how the tumor microenvironment influences recurrence using single-cell, spatial transcriptomic, and advanced functional models.
Project 3 – Resistance to antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs)
This project focuses on identifying and targeting intrinsic and microenvironment-mediated mechanisms of resistance to ADCs using drug screening approaches and advanced co-culture systems.
Project 4 – Biomarker-driven resistance in breast cancer
We have identified a circulating biomarker predictive of response to neoadjuvant therapy in aggressive breast cancer. This project aims to determine its role in treatment resistance and metastatic dissemination using cutting-edge cellular and molecular approaches.
All projects are highly interdisciplinary and provide training in state-of-the-art technologies within a collaborative and supportive research environment.
