Mission:<\/strong> The project consists in analysing and dissecting the role of hyperglycosylation ofspecific surface proteins in pancreatic tumor growth and their role in regulating the immune system.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activities:<\/strong> The selected candidate will work on a specific cell surface receptor regulated by glycosylation. The candidate will perform experiments in vitro and in vivo, using high-throughput microscopy, confocal microscopy, protein biochemistry and mass spectrometry, with cutting-edge glycoproteomics. The postdoc will oversee master students. The postdoc will be able to leverage on large glycoproteomic datasets already acquired and multiple cell lines already generated.

Expected skills:<\/strong> PhD in life sciences. Experience in cell and cancer biology and murine models of cancer. Good mastery of bioinformatic tools. Experience in multi-omic data analysis, mass spec desired. Good communication skills, good command of English, ability to work independently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Work environment: <\/strong>The postdoc will work within the Glynthera team, a world leader in the study of the GALA pathway and O-glycosylation role in solid tumors. The lab is focused on pancreatic and liver cancers and dedicated to the understanding of how changes in glycosylation patterns of surface and secreted proteins drive tumor growth and survival. Glynthera is part of the CRCM, an international cancer center affiliated to CRNS, INSERM, University Aix-Marseille and the Paoli-Calmettes Cancer Institute in the South-East of France. The CRCM combines access to clinicians and patients\u2019 samples, state-of-the art technological platforms and an international pool of top scientists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
