{"id":12471,"date":"2026-06-11T16:17:46","date_gmt":"2026-06-11T14:17:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/crcm-marseille.fr\/?p=12471"},"modified":"2026-06-11T18:14:42","modified_gmt":"2026-06-11T16:14:42","slug":"31-phd-positions-available-at-crcm-discover-research-opportunities-in-cancer-research-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/crcm-marseille.fr\/en\/job-offers\/31-phd-positions-available-at-crcm-discover-research-opportunities-in-cancer-research-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Master 2 Opportunities 2027: Join the Mamessier \/ Bertucci Lab"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Our lab is developing tools to advance the future of precision medicine in oncology. <br>To support this goal, we are seeking talented (top 25% of your prom) and ambitious Master 2 students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If you are&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Willing to pursue a PhD and an academic career,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Highly motivated to conduct a translational research project,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Extremely dedicated, passionate, rigorous, and organized to work with human samples collected through ongoing clinical trials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8230;Several projects are currently available and can be selected based on the candidate\u2019s scientific interests and project availability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/crcm-marseille.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2026_info-graphie-1.webp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"720\" height=\"945\" src=\"https:\/\/crcm-marseille.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2026_info-graphie-1.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12506\" srcset=\"https:\/\/crcm-marseille.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2026_info-graphie-1.webp 720w, https:\/\/crcm-marseille.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2026_info-graphie-1-229x300.webp 229w, https:\/\/crcm-marseille.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2026_info-graphie-1-57x75.webp 57w, https:\/\/crcm-marseille.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/2026_info-graphie-1-480x630.webp 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width:767px) 480px, 720px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><br>Projects<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Project 1 \u2013 Precision medicine for metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC)<\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Using a molecular stratification framework that we developed for colorectal cancer liver metastases, we aim to identify subtype-specific biomarkers and therapeutic targets and to develop tailored treatment strategies through high-content drug screening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Project 2 \u2013 Determinants of metastatic relapse<\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>By comparing patients with rapid relapse to those with durable disease control, this project will investigate how the tumor microenvironment influences recurrence using single-cell, spatial transcriptomic, and advanced functional models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Project 3 \u2013 Resistance to antibody\u2013drug conjugates (ADCs)<\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>This project focuses on identifying and targeting intrinsic and microenvironment-mediated mechanisms of resistance to ADCs using drug screening approaches and advanced co-culture systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Project 4 \u2013 Biomarker-driven resistance in breast cancer<\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>We have identified a circulating biomarker predictive of response to neoadjuvant therapy in aggressive breast cancer.
