He is also head of the Translational Research Committee at the Institut Paoli Calmettes. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Emilie Mamessier<\/strong> is a researcher at INSERM, specializing in transfer research.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>This co-direction enables us to combine innovative technical and scientific developments on relevant clinical issues, all thanks to valuable patient samples.<br\/><\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A multidisciplinary team<\/h5>\n\n<p>Our projects benefit from the involvement of a team of <strong>around twenty members,<\/strong> experts in a wide range of disciplines: bioinformatics, immunology, molecular and cellular biology, etc.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>State-of-the-art equipment<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<p>In addition to the equipment available at CRCM, our laboratory has its own resources for carrying out our research<em>(see figure 2<\/em>):<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Devices and robots for next-generation sequencing (NextSeq500, Robot Magnis)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Transcriptomics (Affymetrix) and comparative genomic hybridization-on-a-chip (Agilent) platforms<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Equipment for isolating DNA (BioRad) and circulating tumor cells (Parsortix, micromanipulator)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Microfluidic devices (Ibidi, Fluigent)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Real-time imaging and microscopy system<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cell culture rooms dedicated to human samples<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Our mission<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<p>Together, we are working to :<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Refine <strong>tumor classification<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Offer more<strong>therapeutic options<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optimize <strong>treatment targeting<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A better understanding of <strong>resistance mechanisms<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>This relies on the design and launch of<strong>prospective clinical trials<\/strong> to collect samples at different stages of the disease and associated clinical data.
