At diagnosis, 80% of PDAC patients present with <strong>metastatic<\/strong>, unresectable <strong>disease<\/strong> and a poor response to conventional therapies, making <strong>metastasis<\/strong> a major determinant of patient management. Surprisingly, while <strong>combinatorial chemotherapies<\/strong> such as <strong>FOLFIRINOX<\/strong> have improved life expectancy for some patients, the rise of <strong>immunotherapies<\/strong> in oncology has not led to any further improvement in the management of PDAC patients.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Such epidemiological data are mainly due to two major and interconnected features of PDACs:<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. Specific cellular organization\/composition :<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<p><strong>Tumor epithelial cells<\/strong><strong>(TCs<\/strong>) are embedded in a highly fibrous <strong>tumor microenvironment<\/strong><strong>(TME<\/strong>).
