In this way, it is possible to predict and assess the nature of a particular chemical substance, used in a particular setting, and without having to resort to testing on animals or living cells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The advantages of using &#8220;in silico&#8221; methods are potentially immense, as they enable us to reduce animal testing, cut research and production costs and lead times, test a large number of chemical substances, and increase the quality and quantity of information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Designed first and foremost as a tool for research, this platform provides&nbsp;<strong>a high-performance computing environment and resources<\/strong>, as well as&nbsp;<strong>the&nbsp;<\/strong>essential&nbsp;<strong>support&nbsp;<\/strong>for the development of new tools, applications and methods required for scientific projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s also a place and a tool for exchange, bringing together a long-standing community as well as new players in the field of computing and data processing, and an indispensable gateway to national and international computing networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The platform&#8217;s services are aimed in particular at all researchers and engineers in the CRCM and IPC groups and platforms, as well as their national and international collaborators, and also at industrial partners for their needs in the field of
