The Lions Club of Vaison-la-Romaine, in partnership with the CCFF (Comité Communal contre les Feux de Forêt), the Restos du Cœur, and for secondary school students from the Cité Scolaire de Vaison, raised 13,000 euros for pediatric cancer research.

These donations were used to purchase an electroporation device (Neon XT), which will be extremely useful to genetically modify patient-derived tumor cells.

Lions Club members were received at the CRCM on September 11, 2024 by Dr. Eddy Pasquier and his team to hand over the equipment to the REMAP-4kids team.

They plan to repeat the operation in March 2025 to continue supporting research.
